He has been practicing medicine in Alexandria since 1997. He has been a recipient of the Patient Choice Award and cited as a “Top Doctor” in Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, and Washington Consumer Checkbook multiple times.
Scott Lincoln Whittaker, M.D.
Board Certified Internal Medicine Doctor
Dr. Scott Lincoln Whittaker grew up in Pottstown, PA. Dr. Whittaker graduated from Temple Medical School in 1998 and finished his residency at University of Maryland in Baltimore in internal medicine in 2001. That same year he became board certified and joined our practice.
Wayne Wu, M.D.
Board Certified Internal Medicine Doctor
Dr. Wayne Wu has been in internal medicine practice since 1998. A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Wu practiced in North Carolina prior to joining Drs. Mitchell and Whittaker in 2003. Dr. Wu grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and graduated with his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995. He then returned to Pittsburgh to complete his internal medicine residency. Dr. Wu lives in Vienna, VA with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys running, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Julia Camargo, CRNP
Board Certified Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
Julia Camargo is originally from Brazil but grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended Georgetown University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. Julia started her career as a bedside nurse in the intermediate care unit at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where she developed a passion for preventative care, chronic disease management, and geriatrics. While working at Georgetown, Julia attended graduate school at Johns Hopkins where she graduated in 2017 with her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Julia is a board-certified Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and looks forward to expanding her career in internal medicine with a holistic approach to care. Julia currently lives in Arlington, Virginia. On her days off she enjoys going for walks with her dog, trying new restaurants, traveling, running, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
Molly Magovern, FNP
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Molly is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 2017. She worked as a Medical ICU nurse for several years in Pittsburgh and New York City before attending graduate school at Georgetown University. While completing her Master of Science in Nursing, she worked in peri-operative services recovering patients after surgery. Upon graduating from Georgetown in 2022, she began her career as a Nurse Practitioner working in Obesity Medicine, helping patients lose weight safely and sustainably. Molly understands the importance of preventative medicine and is passionate about building strong relationships, providing education and support, and helping patients improve overall health.
Molly was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is an avid Pittsburgh sports and Villanova basketball fan. She resides in Arlington with her husband and their dog, and in her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, running, playing sports and spending quality time with friends and family.
